Student to Student Welcome
The inaugural “Student to Student Welcome” Day, held Sept. 17, was a wonderful success with over twenty new students attending. Thanks to all the new students who came and to those “seasoned” students (space prohibits a list, but we know who you are!) who were instrumental in making the day valuable for the participants! Now the challenge to current first year students: Can you make next year’s Welcome even better?
PhD Student Town-hall
On April 5, 2011, PhD students of EDST gathered at a town-hall meeting to discuss areas of mutual concern in the department. The resulting report (PDF) has been presented to the department and has been forwarded to GPACC for consideration at its October meeting. You are encouraged to review the document and watch this site for further updates.
