Summer Term 1 – ON-LINE (May 7 to July 27) To be eligible to teach courses at a 300 or 400 level, applicants must hold a masters or doctoral degree in adult education or in a field/discipline relevant to the course title. Experience teaching in an online environment is preferred. There will be approximately 20 students enrolled in these courses. |

The Department of Educational Studies is an interdisciplinary unit. The Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Race, Inequalities and Global Change that will be located in the Department of Educational Studies. The Canadian Research Chairs Program (http://www.chairs.gc.ca) has been established by the Canadian Federal Government with the purpose of attracting outstanding researchers to the Canadian university system. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong record of scholarship and a commitment to research leadership.
