| Graduate Teaching Assistant positions – SUMMER 2012 |
The Department of Educational Studies requires two Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) to assist with EDST 591(96A) Indigenous Epistemology and Curriculum, which is offered in Summer Session Term 2B, July 23 to August 10, 2012 (Monday to Friday, 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.). Dr. Jo-ann Archibald is the instructor. This course is offered to two sections of EDST 591, one for Educational Studies and one for the M.Ed. cohort that emphasizes Indigenous Knowledges and Indigenous Pedagogies through the Department of Language and Literacy Education. |

The Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia invites applications for the position of Head, Department of Educational Studies (EDST). The Department is one of four Departments in the Faculty of Education, with over 40 faculty members (including sessional appointments) engaged in a range of scholarship and projects locally, nationally and internationally. EDST offers programs leading to PhD, EdD, MA and MEd degrees, and contributes to the BEd curriculum which is offered through large elementary and secondary teacher education programs. |
