His other research interests include anti-oppressive theories and practice, violence risk assessment and ways for service providers and educators to integrate theory and practice.
Keith received his MSW from Carleton University in 1996, BSW from McGill University in 1994, Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in 1992 and BA in Sociology from York University in 1990.
Keith has worked as a police officer with the Vancouver Police Department and as a social worker with marginalized communities in Toronto and Vancouver. In addition, Keith has ten years of experience designing and delivering training programs on anti-racism, life skills and violence risk assessment throughout Canada.
