Michael Wolfe is a first-year Master’s student in EDST with a focus on Education for Sustainability. He has a passion for conservation of ecosystems, increasing local biodiversity, and sharing his fascination about the natural world with his students and friends. He has been motivated to take political action: running as a candidate in ten previous elections at the federal, provincial, and civic levels. Michael (aka Mr. Wolfe) teaches at McNair Secondary School in Richmond, where he co-teaches the outdoor education of the Mini School. A recent wildlife encounter, while hiking the Juan de Fuca Trail with students, was shallow-diving and shaking arms with a Giant Pacific Octopus.
