SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR POSITION, Summer Term 1 (May-June 2014)

The Department of Educational Studies has an opening for an instructor to teach the following graduate course in Term 1 (May 12 to June 20) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in WMAX 110 of the 2014 Summer Session.

EDST 565D/941 Special Course in subject matter: Social Movement Learning

To be eligible to teach this course, applicant must hold a doctoral degree in Adult Education or other discipline relevant to the course. This course introduces participants to the burgeoning concept of social movement learning. Participants will explore: the concept of social movement learning in the context of adult education theories; creative for communicating to neighbourhood organizations, non-profits, and government bodies the value of social movement learning and; exemplary cases of social movement learning. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience teaching comparable courses in professional ethics for educational leaders.
