Vicheth is a PhD student in EDST. His research interests include: social mobility, higher education governance and state-university relations, and social finance and privatization of/in public education.
Vicheth received his M.A. in International Peace Studies from the United Nations Mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) in Costa Rica in 2009, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver in 2008, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics from the Regional Language Center in Singapore in 2005, and a B.Ed. in TEFL from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2002.
Vicheth has several years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students at the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia. He also has a few years of experience working as a researcher and program coordinator at the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI), a policy research institute in Cambodia.
