Kentaro Hasa is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He completed his master’s degree at UBC, where his thesis focused on a critical discourse analysis of language and structure in the OECD’s AI and the Future of Skills (AIFS) document and its implications for higher education. His research interests lie in exploring the intersections of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its broader impacts on societal structures, particularly the influence of AI on education policy and governance in higher education.
