Description: You are invited to the second workshop in the EDST Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence Workshop Series. The arrival of generative AI is not a minor disruption; it’s a constantly evolving challenge to how we assess student learning. This session is designed for instructors who are concerned about academic integrity. In the studio we will introduce the “Mitigate, Support, Elevate” framework for designing assessments resilient to AI misuse. Together we will explore this framework for assessing the learning process and not just the learning  product.  You will leave with a draft plan to redesign one of your own assessments to be more AI-resilient. This session will include a brief, high-level overview of the topic, step-by-step instructions on the specific approach or tools mentioned, and dedicated time for both questions and hands-on, personalized support. To get the most out of this studio, please bring your syllabus for a hands-on activity.
