Note from the Editor in Chief, Dana Goedbloed
We have finally launched the first issue of Critical Voices and are thrilled with the response from so many of our alumni. The editorial board, consisting of Natalia Bussard, Kathy Siedlaczek, John Fleming, and Marilynne Waithman have spent many hours with me in establishing the presence on the EDST website. Carl Luk has been our go to developer, and Tony Edwards, EdD Program Coordinator has been our thought provoking guide.
This issue’s theme is focusing on the problematic of educational policy. Each of the contributors has presented both their experiences and perspectives on this theme and are sharing as a means to provoke scholarly engagement, through the critical examination of their professional practices related to the krisis of developing educational policy.
We invite you to read the submissions and to provide your feedback by interacting with us on this site, or contacting me. The theme of the next issue, due to release in December 2025, will be announced by October and we look forward to seeing your articles, stories, poems, and/or video presentations. Also, please pass on this site to your cohorts and invite them to participate.
