Please join me in congratulating Katherine Yuko Fry, who successfully presented and defended her MA thesis today. The study, Mapping Opportunity Hording: Historicizing Seattle Public Schools’ Attendance Zone Boundaries, utilizes an innovative approach that includes critical GIS mapping techniques as well as historical analysis of the Seattle area.
