
Charlotte Milner is a PhD student with a research focus on decolonising geography education in secondary schools. Before joining UBC, she completed her MA in Social Justice and Education at University College London, where she focussed on the role of Initial Teacher Education in preparing teachers to decolonise Geography in schools. Charlotte also holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Manchester. She is a UK-qualified teacher of geography with several years’ in schools across London, UK. She also has experience of working in project management on various initiatives such as increasing climate action in schools in London, UK. As part of her work, Charlotte also has a passion for creating spaces of equitable dialogue in research and providing opportunities for knowledge-sharing.
