I am an educator and researcher in Adult Learning and Education in the Department of Educational Studies. After completing my PhD in adult literacy policy, I worked for three years: part-time as a post-doc in Health Sciences Education at UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry, part-time as a sessional lecturer at UBC and University Calgary, and part-time as a Project Coordinator in the Faculty of Education. My current fields of interest are policy studies in adult & higher education and transformative learning. I am originally from Aotearoa New Zealand and continue to have a personal and research interest in the place.
